maintain at 0.5 x 106 cells/ml; split saturated culture at 1:4 to 1:5 every second day; seed out at ca. 0.5-1.0 x 106 cells/ml; viability immediately after thawing may be rather low (<30%), but cells recover quickly and viability will raise over the next few passages; maximal density at ca. 2-3 x 106 cells/ml

Cytogenetics:
murine hypodiploid karyotype with 10% polyploidy - 39(38-40)<2n>, t(X;1)(q10;q10) - two centric-fusion markers present - resembles published karyotype
