Subculture:
split culture 1:5 to 1:10 every 3-4 days before reaching confluency using trypsin/EDTA; seed out at ca. 3-4 x 106 cells/80 cm2; confluent cultures tend to form aggregates, that loosely adhere to the culture vessel surface; however, these aggregates are difficult to disperse and may need trypsin treatment after a centrifugation and washing step

at 37 °C with 5% CO2

about 20-30 hours

cell harvest of ca. 10-15 x 106 cells/80 cm2
