cells may be difficult to culture; seed out at ca. 1-2 x 106 cells/ml (it could be of advantage to start in 24-well-plates); also, after thawing viability may drop to about 40-50% but will recover after about one week, cells start to grow after ca. 5 days; split saturated culture 1:2 every 3 days; maintain at ca. 0.5-2.0 x 106 cells/ml; maximal density at about 2.5 x 106 cells/ml
