adherent cells growing as monolayer and some multilayered clusters

Subculture:
seed out at ca. 1-2 x 106 cells/80 cm2 flask; split confluent culture 1:3 to 1:5 once a week using trypsin/EDTA for at least 10-20 min; the cells look fairly blistered, particularly after thawing

at 37 °C with 5% CO2
Doubling time:
ca. 3-5 days
Harvest:
cell harvest of ca. 10 x 106 cells/175 cm2

frozen with 70% medium, 20% FBS, 10% DMSO
