Sequence accession no. 16S rRNA gene: AJ833647, whole genome shotgun sequence: BBEO00000000. Deeply orange-red. (Medium 9 with 2 g/l maltose and sterile pieces of cellulosic (filter) paper (3-4 pieces (ca. 1cm x 1cm) per plate). Inoculate the pieces of paper, 30°C). Start of growth may be as late as 2-3 weeks after inoculation.
