Sequence accession no. 16S rRNA gene: U28237. Nonmotile. Causes Sumatra disease on clove tree. (Medium 1 (add 0.25 g/l of ferric ammonium citrate from a separately autoclaved stock solution), 28°C or Medium 428, 28°C, prolonged incubation).
