Subculture:
maintain at 0.1-0.3 x 106 cells/ml, optimal split ratio (daily) of 1:3, maximal split ratio of 1:5; for an IL-6 bioassay, we recommend to initially use 1.25-2.5 x 104 cells/ml and 100 µl in a 96-well-plate (it is advisable to determine the optimal cell density in various growth curves)

at 37 °C with 7.5% CO2
