seed out at ca. 1 x 106 cells/80 cm2 flask; split confluent culture 1:3 - 1:5 once or twice a week using trypsin/EDTA (wash twice with PBS and incubate with trypsin/EDTA for at least 15 min.)

at 37 °C with 5% CO2

ca. 3-4 days

cell harvest of ca. 10-15 x 106 cells/175 cm2
