80% MEM (with Earle's salts) + 20% h.i. FBS + 2 mM L-glutamine
Subculture:
seed out at ca. 1 x 106 cells/80 cm2 flask; split confluent culture 1:4 to 1:6 every 3-5 days using trypsin/EDTA (wash two times with PBS before trypsination)
Incubation:
at 37 °C with 5% CO2
Doubling time:
ca. 40-50 hrs
