Remarks:
Soil isolate; Inc P-1; sensitive to male specific phage PR11; encodes degradation of 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid, 2-methyl, 4-chloro, phenoxyacetic acid and dalapon, 2,2-dichloropropionic acid; 2,4-D+ character retained stably in this strain which uses 2,4-D as sole source of carbon and energy; strain does not degrade phenoxyacetic acid.
