<- IMET <- M. Tsukamura, 40020. (Rhodococcus rhodochrous). Soil; country of origin unknown. Attacks phenol and naphtalene. Until 2019 preserved as a Rhodococcus rhodochrous strain. Test results have identified the type strain of Rhodococcus gordoniae as the next phylogenetic relative. (Medium 426, 28°C).
